Soil Related Stresses - Slide 1

This white fir is exhibiting some of the characteristic canopy symptoms of evergreens growing in poorly drained soils. Thinned canopies and stunt are common symptoms of stress brought on by trees growing in oxygen-deficient soil caused by waterlogged conditions.
