Diagnosis Case: Spruce

Webbing is a sign of spruce mites. Webbing usually leaves a grey appearance of spruce. Debris is often found trapped in mite webbing.
The silk of the spruce budworm is similar looking (left), but it ties or twists the foliage with silk rather than creating a web effect.
